Talented djs Anna Sol and Lilian Strömberg will make the Tangocafé in Tangocamp Sweden the second hottest place to be after the sauna in the Spa!

Very competent dj Mauro Berardi from Rome will be the dj in the Tangocafé during Tangocamp Italy. This will surely be a great improvment and will make the Tangocafé buzzing with tangodancers..

For reasons outside Tangocamps powers...Andrea Missé will not join the Tangocamp tour 2009. We wish her good luck and health! Her sister Stella Missé will be Javiers partner during the entire Tangocamp tour. We welcome her and hope she will have a great time with us! Info about the change has been made in the program and on the welcome page.

2009-02-05Hotel Trasten FULLY BOOKED!

The small and inexpensive hotel Trasten is now fully booked. The option to choose this housing is not valid anymore and will be removed soon. The festival hotel, Hotel Tylösand has stil availability, since it is a huge hotel with many many rooms! For a very cheap housing during Tangocamp Sweden we suggest Hostel Tylöbäck.

Marcelo Gutierrez and Sigrid van Tilbeurgh will be the Special Guests in Tangocamp 2009. We wish this new couple welcome and we hope they will inspire many of our participants. They will be giving performances and lessons during Tangocamp. Stay tuned for more info!

Knytkalas, ostbuffé, medtag egen dryck. Vi hjälps åt att fixa lokalen och duka. Ta med favorit CD:s! En timme ägnas åt gästernas medhavda favvomusik.

Räkna med att det blir Tangojam under kvällen! Vi värmer upp med yoga 19.30-20.30 (se annons) för att bli riktigt mjuka i lederna så att vi kan improvisera vilt på pistan, växla roller och upplösa roller för de som vill.

Ingrid Remmen bor i Oslo, og jobber som danser, og lärer i yoga og kontaktimprovisasjon. Ingrid har undervisat i yoga och danset kontaktimprovisasjon de siste ti årene, og var initiativtaker til Oslo Kontaktimpro, en organisasjon som arrangerer jam, workshops og festivaler. Ingrid er utdannet i moderne dans fra Laban centre i London.

DET FINNS PLATSER KVAR!!!!!!!Missa inte Gonzalos Robinson och Alejandras Soto Workshop i Tango Milonguero och Milonga con Traspié. . The Workshop in milonguero style is bound to the dancer of all levels who will improve technique in some aspects of the style. In this case transmitted by these professionals with good experience in the teaching area. Gonzalo Robinson was disciple and assistant of the legendary Gavito, Gonzalo was a professional dancer in many theatre shows around the world and he is now living and teaching in Naples- Italy, together with his partner Alejandra Soto, also formed in B.A with well known tango teachers and in the B.A milongas.

Details of the lesson: Previous exercise to tango - 15 minutes Sequences and steps - 1 hour Practice the lesson - 15 minutes Thursday 5 feb: I lesson 18.30: beginner - intermediate Posture, walking, change of the direction, rotation in axles and milonguero turn with arrastre II lesson 20.00: intermediate - advanced Rhythm, turn and turn back, cadence with pencil and sacada, variants and sequences for the improvisation Friday 6 feb: I lesson 18.30: beginner - intermediate Posture, walking, combinations with legs and with lower sacadas , lateral exit a double tempo, variants of sequence for the improvisation II lesson 20.00: intermediate - advanced Rhythm, hanging (colgadas) in the milonguero, sacadas in circulars, and variants with pulling for the improvisation Saturday 7 feb: (time to be confirmed later) Special Class -I milonga lisa för : beginner - intermediate Introduction to milonga Class –II Milonga with traspié intermediate - advanced (time to be confirmed later) Introduction to milonga with traspié, basics sequences with contretemps, circulars a tempo and contretemps, square with lateral movements (corridita) and sequences of tango incorporates to the milonga.
