We are proud to reveal the identity of the second teacher couple for "Tango 59 Degrees Stockholm City" - they are none other than LUCIA MAZER and EZEQUIEL FARFARO.

• Lucia Mazer, as the former dance partner of Fabián Salas and especially of Chicho Frumboli, is one of the key dancers who have transformed the woman's role in tango. Lucia spans the entire range of expression from an innovative subtlety to a stunning manifestation of raw power, always matched by her unswerving musicality. Ezequiel Farfaro is certainly among the ten best tango dancers in the world, mastering both classical Todaro and Tango Nuevo styles. He is the former protegé and dance partner of the legendary Milena Plebs, another woman who has contributed much to the modern role of the woman in tango. Lucia and Ezequiel together are a dynamic and exciting new constellation as performers and teachers.

The other teacher couple is, as previously announced, EZEQUIEL PALUDI and SABRINA MASSO.

• Ezequiel and Sabrina represent the new generation of tangueros, and are considered one of the most exciting young couples today. They are the most representative contemporary Argentinean couple of the fusion between the classic tango elegance and the modern evolution of the dance, switching with the greatest ease from smooth classical salon to avant-garde explosivity, to dancing tango to a live rock band. They have participated in many international festivals such as Hamburg, Berlin, Amsterdam, Genova, Lille, Cosmotango, and many others. In 2004, for the second time they closed the festival of Buenos Aires.

The national couples of CRISTINA RAMIREZ & TOMMY PERSSON (Sweden) will also teach, along with GUNILLA RYDÉN & HENRIK ULDALL (Sweden/Denmark).

The festival will take place between the 9th and 14th of August this year.

We are also extremely pleased to welcome DJ STEFAN WIMMER of the legendary El Corte in Nijmegen, Holland. Stefan is one of the most accomplished and renowned tango DJs in Europe. Also DJ NAVINA ØSTERGAARD from Copenhagen, Denmark, another experienced DJ with a solid reputation of playing very danceable music. Peter Bengtson will also be DJing during the festival, and there may be more.

At the moment we are negotiating with an international tango "orquesta", and we venture to say that the milonga venues will be quite special. The final milonga will take place on the roof terrace of Kulturhuset (The Culture House), complete with an open-air barbeque. And no milonga will finish earlier than 3am.

La noche de Colombia

Chicola - föreningen för adopterade från Latinamerika arrangerar en kulturell festkväll med fokus på landet Colombia. Detta för att ge ett smakprov på den temperamentsfulla kulturen i Sydamerika.Vi ser gärna att gästerna klär sig latinamerikanskt, för att var och en ska bidra till en stämningsfull kväll.

Kvällen bjuder på dans- och musikuppträdanden, kurs i salsa, bar, mingel och colombiansk musik spelas på dansgolvet. Klockan 20.00 serveras det typiska colombianska maträtter. Medverkar gör bl a Colombias Ambassadör, dansgruppen Cimarrón, Alexander Falk från Idol 2004. Även colombianska företag ställer ut och har provsmak och försäljning på colombianska mat-produkter och souvenirer.
